This knife holder can actually be used for crush cutting, shear cutting, and razor cutting, with a simple and quick change of the knife blade cartridge. And for operator safety, the Genius knife holder has a patented system which hides the knife in a protected position while at rest. The knife blade comes down only during slitting.

Double E “ESPO” Genius Knife Holders are designed for slitting systems to produce slits for shear, crush, and razor applications. It is the only knife holder on the market that enables all three types of slitting on a single slitting machine.

Patented interchangeable blade cartridges allow the Genius knife holder to slit as a shear, crush, and razor knife holder.

The patented flange applies force parallel to the blade’s axis virtually at the contact point between knife and anvil to produce a cleaner cut, less vibration, and no blade / knife holder tilting.

The knife holder’s patented head rotation mechanism facilitates right or left-hand blade positioning.

The rigid knife holder body further prevents tilting/torsion.
