Re

Double E partnered with Re Spa over ten years ago, and is now the exclusive representative for Re products and spare parts in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Germany, and France. The Re Combiflex brake is the coolest running brake on the market, so its pads last much longer than others. It doesn't squeal, and it easily retrofits all roll stands. Re web guides use stepper motors for precise edge, line, or center guiding. Multiple guides can be managed with a single, easy-to-use yet sophisticated controller, tension control systems, and video inspection systems round out a product line that dovetails perfectly with Double E's own line of chucks and shafts.

Mario Cotta

The Double E Company recently acquired the exclusive rights to sell and service Mario Cotta’s advanced line of slitting systems, knife holders and knives in North America. Zincometal, the parent company of Mario Cotta, is located in Inveruno, Italy. Mark Fortin, president of Double E, explained that the match made perfect sense for both companies. He said, “Double E now has a top-quality line of slitting products to complement its other converting accessories, and Mario Cotta has a strong local partner to deliver outstanding service to North America.” He said that this was a necessary giant step in making Double E a complete resource for web handling solutions.

Gavo Meccanica

After many years of selling core cutters geared towards low-volume users, Double E realized that being able to offer a high-volume solution would be appropriate as well. After evaluating many possibilities, the company chose GaVo because of the unique capabilities of its cutters. The semi-automatic and fully automatic models both use a patented core joining feature which eliminates wasted cores. These core cutters are able to cut any core material, and are provided with a vacuum to minimize core dust. Automatic models utilize various loading devices to accommodate multiple core sizes and volume differences.

The Double E Company has exclusive rights to sell and service I.E.S.'s advanced line of differential shafts in North America. I.E.S. Srl is located in Bergamo, Italy and since 1964 has offered high quality expanding air shafts throughout the world. Their exclusive design and operational features, patented world-wide, distinguish them from all the others present on the market. From the very beginning I.E.S.'s primary objective has been to provide shafts that are light weight and extremely reliable.

Powell Engineering, Inc.

The Double E Company has exclusive rights to offer Powell Engineering, Inc. model EP and EP Junior roll lifting shaftless unwind stands in North America. PEi have been serving the paper, film, foil, and nonwoven industries with high-production shaftless unwind stands since 1983.  These shaftless roll stands allow Double E to round out its roll stand offerings.
